We offer supplemental food and supplies for companion Dogs and Cats.
Pet Food Pantry's are held every other month at the Cloverland townhall from 1:00PM - 2:30PM
Our pantry is designed to supplement what you’re already feeding, not fully replace it. We try to give enough to help stretch your supply between purchases so we can serve as many families as possible. The goal is to provide supplemental support on a temporary basis to help offset costs.
Our pet food pantry’s mission is to provide the necessary resources to keep responsible pet owners and their pets together when they are facing hardships and, to preventing potential surrenders.
We provide assistance to those residing in Vilas County, Oneida County and surrounding counties.
In order to receive free supplemental food for your pets, you must complete an application each time you visit the pantry. Registering on-line prior to the event will guarantee you pet food even if we run out of food at the event. If you sign-up on-site and we run out of food we will do our best to help you but can not guarantee assistance.
We are 100% donation based. Food and extras are subject to availability. Our goal is to help as many pet owners as possible but without funds, we will scale back, or portion control the amount of food we hand out. This means you may or may not receive the same amount of food as you have at a past pantry.
* Please note that you must complete a registration form for each time you need assistance.
* People may also complete a registration on-site however, food may be limited.
We currently hold our pet food pantries every two months at the Cloverland Townhall in Eagle River. Check our Facebook Page or events page for announcements, times and directions/address.
Our program provides SUPPLEMENTAL PET FOOD is provided for existing family pets only. Supplemental pet food is not intended to cover 100% of needs or be a fully continuous supply of food. Our services are intended to supplement, not replace, your regular purchase of pet food and supplies.

It is not available for ongoing or continuous support. Clients are expected to attend scheduled pantry events for regular assistance. If you fit this criteria please complete this form and a volunteer will reach out to you and discuss a day and time for you to pick up food.
If you pre-register for our Pet Food Pantry and cannot attend, you must provide at least 24 hours notice by completing our cancellation form:

Advance notice is required so we can accurately plan food distribution and serve as many families as possible.
The purpose of our pet food assistance program is to help individuals care for the pets they already have during times of financial hardship. To ensure we can continue providing consistent and sufficient support to all who need it, we must set guidelines that help us manage our limited resources fairly and responsibly.
Acquiring additional pets while receiving assistance places added strain on both your household and our program. It increases the demand for food and care, which may not be sustainable for someone already facing financial difficulty. It also limits our ability to help other individuals and families in need.
By asking participants not to take on new pets during the period of assistance, we aim to:
Ensure the well-being of the pets already in your care
Use resources wisely and equitably
Promote responsible pet ownership during financially challenging times
We understand the love and compassion that come with wanting to help more animals, but our first responsibility is to ensure that every animal currently receiving help is properly cared for.
We allow one person to pick up food for ONE person ONLY. The person you are picking up for MUST complete this form to receive assistance. No exceptions.
We reserve the right to deny this option. If that happens, a volunteer will reach out to you.
We do offer extra pet related items at our pantries. These items typically include dog and cat treats, kitty litter, toys, collars, leashes and more. At check-in you will receive cards based on the number and species of pets you have. You then use these cards to go "shopping" with. So much fun!
Pet parents that are receiving pet food assistance can bring their pets to our pantry for a free nail trim! There is a line on the registration form where you can tell us how many of your pets you'll be brining.
We also offer $5 nail trims to the public. No registration is needed but we do recommend arriving between 1:45-2:15 to avoid a wait.
We offer FREE microchips to pet parents receiving pet food assistance. You must complete a registration form here: https://forms.gle/Tq4bE1MkQzhQB3cv6
