Unexpected Vet Bill Solutions
The CareCredit credit card can be used for routine veterinary appointments, grooming services, emergency pet care, or a variety of surgeries and treatments your pet may need. It gives pet owners the peace of mind needed to care for pets big and small.

Other ways to save money at the Vet’s office

Pet Medications – One area where you may be able to save money is on your pet’s medications. Pet owners always have the option of purchasing their pet’s medications from a variety of sources, including large grocery or pharmacy chains, online pharmacies or your own veterinarian. But you should be careful when buying medications from any source other than the veterinarian you trust with your pet’s well-being.

Learn to trim your pet’s nails. You can often do this yourself and save $15-$30 per nail trim. All you need are a good pair of nail clippers and an understanding of the anatomy of a nail. Click here to check out a great video to help you trim your dog’s nails. Kitty nails are a lot easier to trim, check out this video here. If your cat goes outdoors, please don’t trim their nails.
You can also check out our Pet Food Pantry where we odder $5 nail trims!
